Creating a Menu
Molla supports powerful and user-friendly advanced menus. Please enjoy creating your dreaming menu following step by step.
Step 1 – Please go Appearance > Menus
on WP admin sidebar.
Step 2 – Click create a new menu
or select a menu.
Step 3 – Add new menu items.
For all menu items:
- Prevent link to other pages
- Set background Image
- Add labels
- Input menu item’s custom class to CSS Classes (optional) option.
- Add icon to menu item.
For Depth 1 menu items:
- Select menu dropdown type with Enable Megamenu checkbox.
- When Enable Megamenu is checked => Menu dropdown width & columns
- Menu dropdown position with Popup Position option.
For Depth 2 or upper menu items:
- For direct children menu items of megamenu menu item, you can use it for grid column wrapper with Use as grid column option. Then you can add child menu items to it, in one column.
Menu items that have been set as grid column will not be shown working as grid layouts in menu.
Let’s imagine that you are making a megamenu which has 4 columns! You should set Depth 1 menu item as megamenu with 4 columns, and add 4 child menu items to it set as grid column. At last create your menu contents inside each grid column menu item.
- You can set menu item as subtitle under megamenu menu items.
For last depth menu items:
- You are able to replace content as certain Molla Block.
When you can’t find some menu options while creating menus, click Screen Options button at the top right of screen below WP admin toolbar, and set screen options correctly.
Step 4– After edit the menu items, you should click Save Menu.
