Setting Up a Menu

Wolmart provides powerful and user-friendly advanced menu editor. Please enjoy creating your dreaming menu following step by step.

Step 1 – Please go Appearance > Menus on WP admin sidebar.

Step 2 – Click create a new menu or select a menu.

Step 3 – Add new menu items. You could add menu items using supported links on left hand side. Simply add some custom links to our menu.

Step 4 – Once its all done, make sure you click the Save button.

Menu Settings

To make the most of your menus, you should be familiar with the various settings and options that come with it.

These are a mixture of WordPress core menu settings, and Wolmart added settings.

Note: There are 2 levels of menu items, the First Level menu items and the Sub-level menu items below the First Level menu item. Settings colored with BLUE are only available for only First Level menu.

Navigation Label: Input menu label.

No Link: If checked, menu item won’t lead to your url on click.

Megamenu: If checked, Sub-level menu items would be displayed as megamenu type.

Megamenu Width: Input megamenu width in pixels.

Megamenu Position: Display megamenu in left, center or right of First Level menu.

Prefix Icon Class: Input icon class to show before menu label starts.

Add Label: Select a label to show on top right of menu item. You could add menu labels in Wolmart > Theme Options > Menus > Menu Labels.

CSS Classes (optional): Input custom class to current menu item.

Use Block: Select a Wolmart Block template to display. This option works only for Sub-level menu items under not checked megamenu setting.

Mobile Menu Setting

How to build a mega menu?

Wolmart has a built-in mega menu that can be enabled on every First Level menu item in the Appearance > Menus tab.

Make the most of your menu following step by step:

Step 1: Add a First Level menu to build as megamenu.

Step 2: Check Megamenu option and set Megamenu Width, Megamenu Position.

Step 3: Add direct child menu item to it. It should work as menamenu columns.

Step 4: Add direct child menu item to menamenu columns menu item. It should work as menamenu subtitles.

Step 5: Add menu items to menamenu subtitle menu item.

Step 6: Finally, click the Save Menu button to save your megamenu.
