In case of you install&nbsp;<strong>WordPress<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>WordPress plugin<\/strong>&nbsp;or any other&nbsp;<strong>WordPress themes<\/strong>&nbsp;which you need to develop your site, if the files out of&nbsp;<strong>nowhere&nbsp;<\/strong>then you can see 500 internal server error. But never mind. It\u2019s just a&nbsp;<strong>generic error&nbsp;<\/strong>and you can find many methods to fixed this error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are some reasons why you meet a 500 internal server error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Check server configuration<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you encounter the 500 error, check your web server first. Because if your web server is configured with incorrect directives, then it can occur the 500 error. In this case, it\u2019s good way to get your web host to help diagnose and fix the issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conflicting Plugins<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s possible to getting the 500 error by third party plugins. So if you are getting the 500 error in admin area, just think about plugins. An easy way is rename the plugins folder(&nbsp;<strong>\/wp-content\/plugins<\/strong>&nbsp;) name to something else like \u201cplugins.old\u201d and this will make WordPress ignore plugins. After that check the 500 error. If it\u2019s resolve the error, then you need to recheck all plugins one by one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step1&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 Deactivate all of you plugins<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step2<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Activate plugins one by one until you find the 500 error<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step3&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 The last plugin is the plugin<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deactivate the plugin which has problem and check the 500 error disappeared.
