Before Update<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
  1. We recommend you have a current backup of your site including wp-content<\/strong> folder, wp-config.php<\/strong> file and .htaccess<\/strong> file and a copy of wordpress database<\/strong>. If you are not familiar with how to do this, you can use several plugins such as UpDraft Plus<\/a> and WordPress Backup Buddy<\/a>. And you should backup molla theme options in Appearance > Theme Options > Advanced > Import & Export Options.<\/li>
  2. You should completely remove all previous molla theme folder.<\/li>
  3. You shouldn\u2019t rename molla theme folder.<\/li>
  4. You should reset browser cache, server cache and plugin cache.<\/li>
  5. You should update required and recommended plugins.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    One Click Update Theme<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    You can see update notification when new version is released. You can update molla theme under Dashoboard > Updates<\/code><\/strong> using wordpress standard update method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Traditional Update Theme<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    This method does require more steps and manual work. First you need to manually download the new theme package from your Themeforest account. Once you have the new theme package, you can choose to upload the theme via WordPress or via FTP. Please see the information below – how to download new files, and install it via WP or via FTP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    HOW TO DOWNLOAD NEW THEME FILES FROM THEMEFOREST<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

    Step 1\u00a0\u2013 Log into your Themeforest account and navigate to your downloads tab. Find the \u201cMolla\u201d theme purchase.
    Step 2\u00a0\u2013 Click the \u201cdownload\u201d button next to it and choose to download the \u201cInstallable WordPress Theme\u201d which is just the WordPress file, or choose the \u201cMain Files\u201d which is the entire package that contains everything.
    Step 3\u00a0\u2013 Then you need to decide if you want to install the update via FTP or via WordPress. Directions for both methods are as follows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    HOW TO UPDATE YOUR THEME VIA FTP<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

    Step 1\u00a0\u2013 Go to \u201cwp-content > themes\u201d location and backup your \u201cmolla\u201d theme folder, or you can choose to simply delete it. Your content will not be lost.
    Step 2\u00a0\u2013 Retrieve the \u201cmolla.zip\u201d file from your new Themeforest download and extract the file to get the \u201cmolla\u201d theme folder.
    Step 3\u00a0\u2013 Then simply drag and drop the new \u201cmolla\u201d theme folder into \u201cwp-content > themes\u201d location. Choose to \u201cReplace\u201d the current one if you did not delete it.
    Step 4\u00a0\u2013 Lastly, update the included plugins. You will see a notification message letting you know that the plugins have a new version and need to be updated. You should update the plugins. You can see\u00a0    Update Plugin<\/a>\u00a0for more details.
    Step 5\u00a0\u2013 Please go Molla > Theme Options<\/code><\/strong>\u00a0on admin sidebar and click again \u201cPublish\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    HOW TO UPDATE YOUR THEME VIA WORDPRESS<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

    Step 1 \u2013 You need to deactivate the current \u201cmolla\u201d theme in the \u201cAppearance > Themes\u201d section by simply activating a different theme. Once you activate a different theme, you can delete the molla theme. Don\u2019t worry, your content will not be lost.
    Step 2 \u2013 Retrieve the \u201cmolla.zip\u201d file from your new Themeforest download. If you downloaded the \u201cMain Files\u201d from Themeforest, then you need to unzip the archive file you received, the molla.zip will be inside of it.
    Step 3 \u2013 Then simply upload the \u201cmolla.zip\u201d file in the \u201cAppearance > Themes\u201d section. Click on the \u201cInstall Themes\u201d tab at the top and choose to upload the zip file.
    Step 4 \u2013 Once it has been uploaded, choose to activate the theme.
    Step 5 \u2013 Lastly, update the included plugins. You will see a notification message letting you know the plugins have a new version and need to be updated. You should update the plugins. You can see     Update Plugin<\/a> for more details.
